Endodontist Diagnose and treat conditions resulting from disease or injury to the dental nerve. (Braces) Pedodontist Treat children and provide care for patients with physical, emotional and mental disabilities. Periodontist Diagnosis and treatment of diseases that effect the gums and underlying bone. Placement of Implants. Diagnosis and treatment planning of restorative dental needs including cosmetic therapies. Often incorporating artificial appliances: most commonly crowns, dentures and implants into oral rehabilitations.
